QUALITY - INNOVATION - TRADITION - RESPECT High Country Concrete, Inc. was founded over 25+ years ago by Jerry Nash. He had worked his way up to lead finisher on various well-respected crews in the Sandpoint area, and more besides before moving into the region. Eventually, large changes at one company lead Jerry to deciding it was time to go fully independent. Through High Country Concrete, Jerry was able to pursue the dream of bringing the-then newly popularized polymer concrete alternative to the Panhandle. With polymer, HCC could create decorative faces of a tiny thickness (less than a 1/4 inch) but that would still bond to vertical faces. It was a revolution in home and interior decorative. Today, High Country Concrete, Inc. maintains its reputation and standards with work to match each customer's needs, including (but not limited to): foundations and walls; exterior and interior flatwork (garage slabs, patios, aprons, driveways, walkways, stairs, decks, radiant heated interiors, standard slab interiors but across multiple stories, etc.); decorative countertops and benches; rock retainer - and curtain - walls, or decorative concrete boulders; highly specialized and developed techniques in concrete polymer overlays; and for any project, we can also provide coloring; acid staining; stamp work; tiling patterns (polymer tiling overlay or a saw cut tile pattern); custom designed decorative concrete for the customer's needs; artistic designs such as compass roses, turtles, recreated rock slab counters, water flowing over counters, animal or nature designs, etc; we also create decorative concrete bathtubs, swimming pools, shower rooms, locker rooms, or a great deal more possibilities to call upon for your three-dimensional or flat surface; and of course whatever finish you desire we can provide whether it be a smooth hand finish, stamped finish, a broom finish, or even power finish if the customer wants that look or texture.
